About Me

I am a licensed psychotherapist specializing in individual therapy for both adults and adolescents. With a primary emphasis on fostering trust and connection, I work closely with my clients to explore the complexities of their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, empowering them to overcome obstacles and achieve their goals.

I absolutely love helping individuals connect to their deepest values to confront their most daunting fears. I am prepared to help clients face whatever is frustrating them with an approach that is tailored to their specific needs and preferences—because no single modality is a perfect fit for every person or every challenge.

I have an in-depth awareness of how stress and anxiety can hinder self-esteem, productivity, achievement, relationships, and feeling fulfilled in life. I use evidence-based strategies that help clients learn how to take action in their lives in order to achieve the outcomes they are looking for.

More specifically, I specialize in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I also draw from psychodynamic theory to help clients understand how past experiences and unconscious patterns may influence current behavior and relationships. My treatment approach prioritizes interventions that promote growth, empowerment, resilience, and courage. In addition, I incorporate mind-body techniques like mindfulness, self-compassion training, and somatic experiencing to support lasting mental and physical well-being.

As a member of the LGBTQ+ community myself, I bring not just an understanding but lived experience, enabling me to provide empathetic care tailored to their needs.
